针对网格开放性和扩展性的需求，提出了基于Overlay Network网格体系结构的理论模型。形式化了其核心问题：混合Overlay Network拓扑设计问题，证明了该问题在满足一定条件下具有线性复杂度，提出了在一般条件下求解该问题的模拟退火算法。最后，通过仿真实验分析评价了所提出算法对Overlay Network拓扑代价的影响，结果表明这个模拟退火算法是可行的。
