由于Ad hoc网络是能量受限网络，因此如何提高Ad hoc网络的能量效率问题非常重要。该文提出了一种新的路由选择度量，该度量把节点链路层的拥塞度与节点当前剩余能量综合在一起考虑，使得网络中能量消耗和网络负荷能更加均匀地分布，提高了网络的连通性，增加了网络的吞吐量。仿真结果表明，该度量对于不同规模的网络，其吞吐量均有不同程度的提高。

摘要: Mobile IP 在IP层提供移动支持，移动主机可以从一个地方移动到另一个地方而不中断已有的连接。在MOBILE IP 切换过程中，可能会丢失一些包，使得上层协议如TCP和UDP的性能下降。为此，提出了多种切换策略。介绍了其中的几种，并提出了改进的方案：采用预先建立的隧道来降低切换时延，应用本地广播和FA处的缓存减少丢包，利用提前的资源预留来保证QOS。
