2010年5月19日，由中国仪器仪表学会、中国节能协会、北京自动化学会联合主办，中国仪器仪表学会自控设计委员会、节能应用技术分会承办的2010工业节能与自动化技术发展暨第十三届测控技术在节能减排中的应用研讨会在北京京仪大酒店召开，来自研究院所、设计院、企业的80余名代表参加了会议，会议出版了《2010工业节能与自动化技术发展暨第十三届测控技术在节能减排中的应用研讨会》论文集。

近日，从国家自然科学基金委员会网站获悉，中科院沈阳自动化研究所2010年基金项目获批13项，资助金额502万，从项目获批数量和资助金额来看是沈阳自动化所历年最好成绩。经过沈阳自动化所各研究室的精心准备，2010年国家自然科学基金委员会共受理沈阳自动化所项目53项，其中人才类项目25项，研究类项目26项，国际合作类项目2项。
